Redemptorists enjoy working with lay people. We are enriched by the contact, impressed with their talents and commitment, and blessed with their friendship.

We have a great sense that our work and charism gives us great opportunities, offers us rewarding experiences, and gives us privileged insights into human life and Irish society.

We want to share this joy-filled ministry.

We happily invite and encourage lay people to follow their own Gospel-inspired desire to engage with ministry and serve the people of God.

Redemptorists work in teams and very often our teams include laywomen and men, who place their talents and training at the disposal of the mission of the church. Sometimes people join us on a voluntary basis and other times on a salaried level.

There are many opportunities at home and abroad to work with Redemptorists and enjoy mutual support and friendship. We offer training and support, and opportunities for further studies in the area of ministry.
