GET INVOLVED

The Redemptorists invite participation. We are immersed in the project of helping people to discover inner peace and contentment. We also believe in working to empower people to pursue their calling to ministry.

Sometimes that calling is as a Redemptorist, but not always.

Many lay women and men hear the call to serve God's people. We do our best to turn a thirst for ministry into a reality.

HELPING OUT WITH KIDS IN THE CLONARD AREA OF WEST BELFAST

We enjoy the company of those who are searching and seeking. We acknowledge that we have resources, experiences, gifts, goodwill and talents that can help guide people to happiness. That's why we offer the hand of friendship. We encourage you to go beyond reading about us at this site and to call us or visit us. Blessings will emerge from talking and listening. We offer several programmes that might interest you and motivate you to try something new and fresh.

This section of our website, very briefly, offers possibilities. Each involves making contact with us and getting involved.

The Redemptorists are deeply committed to youth ministry. Would you like to develop your interest in working with young people? If you have an interest in studying youth ministry, working with young people or simply participating with youth groups, then follow up this interest.

You make no commitment other than to visit.

The Redemptorists work in seventy-four countries throughout the world. The Irish Redemptorists who work in the North East of Brazil are always keen to welcome volunteers who are prepared to spend at least two years in Brazil. HELPING OUT: CONSTRUCTION OF NEW HOUSES IN BRAZIL

Several Irish and English mission volunteers have taken this route and enjoyed the experience. It is a challenge but a fascinating one that opens up new horizons and experiences. Those who have gone enjoyed it and will happily brief and entertain you with their experiences and memories.
