22nd May 2011

Final Profession and Diaconate
For Redemptorists in Ireland the next two Sundays are significant days in the life of our Province because we are having the great joy of witnessing a young Redemptorist, Derek Ryan from Enfield, Co. Meath, making a definitive option for the Redemptorist way of life.

On Sunday 22 May Derek will make his Perpetual Profession as a Redemptorist.  This ceremony takes place at 11.00 o’clock Mass in our chapel at Marianella in Dublin.  We offer Derek our prayers and cordial good wishes on reaching this goal.
A week later (Sunday 29th May) Derek will take the next step along the path of his vocation when he is ordained a deacon by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin of Dublin in Maynooth College.
Then on 4th December 2011, D.V., he will be ordained a priest.

Anyone who is interested can contact Fr. Tony Rice at 01-4067 221
